Instagram is testing Lockable Posts feature

Instagram is testing a new feature called Lockable Post . It allows users to lock their content , whether it's a photo or video, using a secret code. To view the content, other contacts or followers will need to enter the correct code.

For your information, this secret code can be set using various forms and contexts depending on the account owner. For example, as our attempt in the screenshot below found, the account owner has set the secret code using the first hashtag in the included caption.

This approach is interesting, which can also be used among product brands to offer exclusive offers, as well as special content for loyal customers. In such cases, it also indirectly helps to increase communication among certain followers and contacts. This feature is still in the testing phase, and the approach used is actually similar to the Reveal Sticker in the Stories function so far.
