Rumour says Instagram is working on a new feature that allows you to edit your Stories after posting them. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, any changes to Stories require users to delete them first before re-uploading. With this new feature, edits can be made directly to existing Stories without having to go through that process.
No confirmed details on the rumour though

According to Alessandro Paluzzi's sharing on X, every time an edit is made, the original version of the Stories will be completely deleted. This means that all the likes, reactions, and comments received previously will also be lost and reset. However, it is not known if this feature will come with a specific editing time limit.
Additionally, it is not yet certain whether this feature will be introduced to all users or only offered as part of a paid feature in the future. In another development, Instagram is also developing the ability to change the font in chats, potentially giving users more customisation options when communicating in messages.
