Instagram users are becoming less interested in content from their friends

Instagram initially started with a focus on following friends and looking at the content they shared. However, day by day, the platform changed, and through algorithm integration, a variety of content from random accounts began to be displayed. However, that trend has changed. So, what should you know about it?

According to Meta's sharing, it is seen that Instagram users are spending less time viewing content from friends, instead spending more time on the Reels section of the application. This is also seeing the shift in the social arena from being based on friends to being based on interests. TikTok itself is ready to lead this arena through its algorithm, and show content that users are interested in, without taking into account their circle of friends.

However, Facebook has previously expressed its intention to return to focusing on friends and family content through its platform. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out soon.
