Were you hoping to get a crack at the new Overwatch or Diablo? Well, you're going to have to wait for a long time, as Blizzard won't be launching them anytime soon. It's long been confirmed that the game won't be out this year, but it might not even launch in 2022.
According to an update posted online, the launch of Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 will happen much later than originally planned. The exact dates were not mentioned, but it's probably safe to assume that we won't be seeing these two games in 2021 or even 2022. These delays were likely caused by the problems Blizzard has been facing in recent months.

Blizzard has been haemorrhaging talent in 2021, with senior staff like Jeff Kaplan (Director for Overwatch) and even company president J. Allen Brack resigning in August. The company has also been embroiled in controversy this year. Specifically, it faces an ongoing lawsuit from the California courts for sexual harassment and discrimination at the workplace.
If Blizzard were to change for the better, could it result in better games? Some food for thought there. Let us know what you think about the topic below, and stay tuned to TechNave for the latest news on gadgets and games.
