Internet facilities and facilities at the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) can be utilised by those involved in the Work From Home (BDR) policy. That said, what should you know about it?

The ministry would coordinate all NADIs in major cities

According to a Bernama report, Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said his ministry would coordinate all NADIs in major cities involved in the implementation of the policy so that it could be used by local communities and civil servants involved in the policy.

"At this time, many NADIs are being used for online meetings for bodies and agencies such as Amanah Ikhtiar and others, so I don't see any obstacles for us to expand the use of NADI for BDR purposes," he said.

Previously, the government announced the implementation of the BDR policy starting April 15, specifically for civil servants and Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) for three days a week, to reduce energy consumption following the global energy crisis caused by the West Asian conflict. However, Fahmi said the centre would operate as usual during office hours.
