Is Huawei putting a front camera on the screen panel itself?

In the near future, we are probably going to see the end of notched smartphones. This includes Huawei and according to a media report from South Korea, they are claiming Huawei is designing a strange device and it is indeed quite weird, here's what we found out.

As you can see from the cover image, you can see that the current smartphone designs are the ones on the left and middle. The one on the right? Boy, that's an actual camera slapped on the screen panel itself and we told you it's weird. While the bezels around the screen panel are heavily minimized, the fact that the front camera appearing there surrounded by the display will probably trigger OCD users off. Of course, this report is just a speculation and we doubt Huawei would try something impractical.

Moreover, the report further states that the screen panel would be 6.39-inch long and could be revealed as a demo unit in the fourth quarter of 2018. This is actually tallying with Huawei's roadmap plan for this year with the code name "Mate PRO" or "Mate LITE", but maybe Huawei can prove us wrong otherwise with that odd design. Like maybe having a mechanical front camera that comes out of the display (lol).

So what do you think of this leaked schematics? Best to take it with a grain of salt and stay tuned for more Huawei news at TechNave.com.
