Qualcomm have made plenty of processors and now there is a new rumour about another new mid-range chipset. The rumour is that the company could launch the Snapdragon 732G in September 2020.

According to the leaker Chun, the chipset features 2 Kyro Gold cores up to 2.3GHz and 6 Kyro 470 Silver cores up to 1.8GHz. As for the GPU, it could sport an Adreno 618 and the size of the chipset is 8nm. Besides that, the chipset could support 4G only instead of 5G, guess that can help the company to save cost (LOL).

On the other hand, the leak also said that a new phone with the new chipset could be launched in Vietnam. The phone could cost under $300, which is roughly around ~RM1255. From the chipset’s name, it could be an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 730G as they have the same SoC architecture as well. Of course, we expect the Snapdragon 732G chipset to come with AI features.

Since this is just a rumour, we should just take it with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement. But which phone do you think would feature the Snapdragon 732G chipset? Let us know in the comment below, be sure to stay tuned for more tech news on TechNave.com.
