Those who stream music online usually choose Spotify, but if you prefer music videos then YouTube is likely your best option. Spotify may be looking to change this though, as a new leak suggests that the company could be working on adding music videos to its mobile app.

According to Jane Manchun Wong, Spotify is working on adding separate tabs for Canvas, Album Art, and Video to the app. These tabs will appear on the music playback screen, allowing you to switch between them on the fly. What's exciting is that the Video tab could let you watch the corresponding music video for the track you are playing.

For those who don't know, the YouTube Music mobile app has plans for a similar feature. In this case, the music videos appear directly on the playback screen. If Spotify wants to have the same feature, it will need to host music videos on its servers or embed YouTube videos.

Spotify hasn't made any official announcements about this feature, so there's a chance that it may never be released. Having said that, would you be interested in being able to watch music videos directly on Spotify? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
