Is the realme V5 coming with a MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset and quad-camera setup?

A few days ago, realme teased on Weibo that there’s a new series and now the phone they revealed is the realme V5. We believe that this might be the one that might appear at IFA Berlin 2020. There are some leaks of the tech specs that we found from the web as well. 

According to sources, the realme V5 could come with a 6.5-inch punch-hole display in 1080p resolution, along with the refresh rate in either 90Hz or 120Hz. Moreover, the phone could sport a MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset and support 5G connectivity. This phone is expected to come in 2 memory options which are 6GB and 8GB of RAM. Furthermore, the internal storage expected to come in three variants which are 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

Besides that, the realme V5 may feature a quad-camera module with a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP, as well as a 16MP selfie sensor. On the other hand, the phone could come with a 5000mAh battery and support 30W Dart Charge technology. Lastly, the phone might weigh 194grams and the measuring could be 9.1mm in thickness.

The company just confirmed that the V5 will be launching on 27 July in China. By the way, please do take a pinch of salt as we are still waiting for the official tech specs list.
