Remember those classic movies where robots take over the world? Given how technology is evolving at a frightening rate, that could become a reality. Recently, HUAWEI researchers suggested that AI should be given a physical body. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, these researchers proposed advanced robotic projects that are supercharged with AI. Unfortunately (Or fortunately), the technology to make this happen has yet to exist. That’s because it would be an almost impossible task to fit an LLM (Large Language Model) into one body.

However, tech giants such as Boston Dynamics and Tesla have the resources to develop this technology. After all, Tesla Bots already exist and it uses AI. So, that could be a good base for them to start with. According to these researchers, embodied AI is “the next fundamental step in the pursuit of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
