Earlier this month, Samsung allegedly announced the next Galaxy Unpacked event at the end of July. Although it was removed shortly, the company has officially confirmed that it will happen that month in Seoul, South Korea. The 27th Unpacked event will take place at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam.

According to TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics, we will indeed be seeing the next generation of foldable devices, namely the anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Flip 5. It's also noted that this will be the very first Unpacked in Korea for over a decade.

This year, Seoul was selected because of its role in influencing global trends with its dynamic culture and innovation, while it also reflects Samsung’s strong confidence in the foldable category. The Korean market also led the way with a remarkable 13.6% foldable phone adoption rate, boasting the highest share of foldable phones in annual smartphone shipments, a bellwether further cementing mainstream adoption in global markets.

We are just a month and a half away from the new Galaxy Z series. Until then, just sit tight and wait for the official news coverage and details.
