It seems that Asus Zenfone 8 will not have a flippable camera?

Based It seems that ASUS recently posted an image on their Twitter account, hinting that the upcoming ASUS Zenfone 8 series smartphones will not come equipped with a flippable camera. Instead, it’ll have a front-facing selfie camera that’s equipped with a hole-punch notch towards the top left of the display.

For those who are not aware, the ASUS Zenfone 7 series came equipped with a flippable main camera that doubles as a front-facing selfie camera when flipped to the front. Not only that, but the flipping mechanism also seems to durable enough to withstand most punishments without breaking.

Is it just us or are there a lot of ‘o’s in ‘smooth’? How many, exactly? ;)

Unfortunately, not much else is known in regards to the Zenfone 8 other than it will have a high refresh rate display and there will be a Mini variant of the smartphone.
