Based on a statement by a Weibo user, it seems that the top 5 smartphone manufacturers in China could be working on a technology which allows smartphones to support up to 120W fast charging. While not much is known in regards to exactly which companies are involved, we do know that Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo showcased something similar not too long ago.

But that’s not all, we’ve also recently mentioned that realme could be unveiling their very own 100W fast charging somewhere around July 2020. With all that said, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact some manufacturers have yet to provide an official statement on the leak.

Not only that, but there’s also no news on when we can expect a 120W charger being available in the Malaysia market. What are your thoughts on future smartphones supporting up to 120W charging? Let us know on our Facebook page and for more updates like this, stay tuned to TechNave.com.
