The Road Transport Department (JPJ) is now emphasising the department's commitment to continue ensuring road safety through stricter enforcement and several proactive actions against various factors that lead to the risk of accidents. In parallel, several measures were shared, and one of them involves the use of technology.
According to JPJ, they are currently studying the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in enforcement. This technology is expected to be used to detect traffic offenders more effectively and is expected to increase the effectiveness of enforcement.
For now, the implementation method and where it will be used has not been shared yet. So, we should wait for more details from JPJ. Hopefully, everything will be resolved soon.
