After they appeared in a leak last month, Jabra finally released their two latest earbuds, the Jabra Elite 8 Active and Jabra Elite 10. Sharing some similar specs but are aimed at two different target segments, read on to find out more about both audio devices.
The Elite 10 is the more premium of the two, with Jabra calling the earbuds its most advanced for work and life on its site. The earbuds are equipped with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking, as well as feature 10mm drivers that cover a range between 20Hz to 20000Hz.
The Elite 10 also supports Bluetooth 5.3, Bluetooth Multipoint connection, IP57 rating and a battery life that can last up to 6 hours on a single charge with ANC turned on. It’s even more impressive with the case, whereby Jabra claims it can last up to 27 hours.
Meanwhile, the Elite 8 Active is touted by Jabra as the world’s toughest earbuds on its site. Besides being equipped with an IP68 rating for the buds and an IP54 rating for the case, they are also MIL-STD-810h certified.
Sound-wise, the Elite 8 Active has 6mm drivers and has features such as Adaptive Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, HearThrough, Bluetooth 5.3, AAC and SBC codecs and Dolby spatial audio. Jabra claims the earbuds can last up to 8 hours with ANC off on a single charge and up to 32 hours with the charging case.
The Elite 8 Active is offered in Black, Caramel, Grey and Navy Blue colour options and is priced at USD199.99 or ~RM929 in the US. Meanwhile, the Elite 10 is available in Cocoa, Cream, Gloss Black, Matte Black and Titanium Black colour options and is priced at USD249.99 or ~RM1162 in the US.
