
After being accused of being a monopoly business in the United States, Google is now being accused of anti-competitive business practices by the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC). Among the accusations levelled is that through Chrome, Google was also found to be paying companies to use its Google Search engine.
For your information, Google forces them to bundle Chrome with the Play Store. This violates Japan's anti-competition law, which prohibits such practices. The investigation into Google was conducted by the JFTC shortly after they were found to have a monopoly in the United States.
This year saw several of the world's leading technology companies fined billions of dollars for their business practices that were found to discourage competition from other companies.
