Transcend Information Inc. (Transcend) has accounced a brand new flash drive called the JetDrive Go 300 yesterday, and it's designed specifically for Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod. Available in either 32GB (RM249) or 64GB (RM409) storage capacity, the flash drive has a Lightning connector and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 connector on each end of the drive, and this allows data transfer (audio, photos, or documents) among Apple devices and computers.
The Lightning connector is able to reach up to 20MB/s transfer speed, while the USB 3.1 Gen 1 connector can go up to an incredible 130MB/s. So how fast is that? As fast as within 28 seconds, the user can transfer a 4GB HD movie with little trouble.
There is also a JetDrive Go app that is free to download from the Apple App Store that allows users to sync their camera roll for quick backup without cables and internet connection, as well as being able to view audio files, pictures and documents (Microsoft Office, Apple iWork and Adobe PDF), and automatically arrange them in order for easier management.
Lastly, the flash drive also contains a MFi (Made for iPod/iPhone/iPad) which is a licensing program of Apple to encompass third-party hardware accessories that are intended for iPhone, iPad and iPod, so don't even try using it on other hardwares.
