So yes, you read that right. There is now a social dating app called Joompa (a pun on the Malay word "Jumpa", duh) and it seems that the app is originated from Singapore. Despite that, the social app can be used globally and it's the "world's first" matchmaking app for Muslims.
So what separates Joompa from other social dating apps? Well, according to the description on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the dating app is marketed as a safe, ethical and transparent for the users. The company also claimed that the app's algorithm will suggest and connect the best people that meet your criteria and preferences.

Of course, the app is free to download and there are some in-app purchases as well. The price rate is labelled in Singapore dollars but we managed to see the local price tags on the iTunes store, which starts from RM12.90 for removing ads. If you subscribe for 1 month, you will have to pay RM94.90 which includes unlimited chats and video calls. If you want a premium membership, the price goes up to RM244.90.
