Kaspersky recently announced a new free online course focused on basic cyberhygiene. The course is aimed at daily internet users who may not be aware of common cyber risks. In the lessons, Kaspersky experts use simple language to explain how to navigate online life safely and protect data.

The course will teach how to protect personal data, safely use email, social networks, and other applications, and make secure purchases online. It also includes how to recognize phone fraud, phishing, and other common cyberthreats.

How long is the course?

A separate lesson is dedicated to the online risks children face. The course consists of 15 short video lessons, each lasting about 15 to 20 minutes so you can watch and learn at your own pace along with a certificate for those who pass the final test.

The course is available now on the Kaspersky Academy website. Users do not need to register to access the lessons. So, what do you think about this initiative from Kaspersky? Will you be taking the free course to brush up on your cyberhygiene? Stay tuned to TechNave.com for more updates.
