
The Kedah State Government has announced that it intends to establish the "Kedah Science Centre," which is an effort to produce great Kedah students in high technology at the Kulim Hi-Tech Park. So, what should you know about it?
A legacy for the future
For your information, this was stated by the Chairman of the State Industry and Investment, Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Committee, Prof. Dr Haim Hilman Abdullah, during the launch of the Kedah STEM Fair 2025.
Moreover, he hopes that industry players at Kulim Hi-Tech Park can collaborate or provide community service to students in the state who may one day become their employees, thus continuing the legacy in the future.
Additionally, Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP) officially operated in 1996, developed by Kulim Technology Park Corporation (KTPC), a private limited company wholly owned by the Kedah State Development Corporation (PKNK) located in Kulim, Kedah, within the Northern Economic Corridor.
To recap, KHTP is a national high-tech park that supports investments in high-tech manufacturing, R&D and technology education, housing 55 local and international industry players with over 45000 employees.
