Kohler, a manufacturer of toilet equipment, has launched the Dekoda camera that will automatically analyse body stool. That said, what should you know about it?

A result from 10 years of research

For your information, the camera is mounted on the toilet bowl and the Dekoda sensor will detect blood in the urine, measure the body's hydration level and analyse the health of the intestines based on the water. According to Kohler, Dekoda was developed after more than 10 years of research with more than 1.2 million data points collected.

Additionally, more than one person can use Dekoda in a household because before using the toilet, a fingerprint scan is required to verify identity. For those concerned about privacy, the Dekoda camera only looks down so there will be no issue of other photos being taken. Kohler is opening pre-orders for Dekoda at $599 (~RM2531) each.

If you have the budget, would you have this camera in your home?
