Kuala Lumpur Hunters defends championship title for the fifth time and won RM40,000 grand prize

Just yesterday at The Legends Circuit (TLC) Malaysia Grand Finals held in conjunction with the Selangor Cyber Games at Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur Hunters (KLH) successfully defended their champion spot against Eternity Esports. This marks their fifth consecutive title and has brought home RM40,000 grand prize.

Moreover, this summer win will also bring the KLH to qualify for the upcoming Garena Premier League (GPL) which will be held from 25-27 August in Bangkok, Thailand. GPL is one of the regional tournaments featuring seven Southeast Asian representatives, serving as a prerequisite to the League of Legends World Championships with two qualifying slots.

In addition, it is also announced that TLC Malaysia will be reformed as the League of Legends Championship Malaysia, but in short, it will be just called the League Championship Malaysia (LCM), designed to elevate the professional eSports scene in Malaysia and position League of Legends as the most comprehensive league to be held domestically.

Meanwhile, there was also a Cosplay Collision between 10 local cosplayers finished with Dovah showcasing a stellar performance as Blood Moon Kalista to walk away with the grand prize of RM3000. The winning performance was unanimously decided by guest judges including professional Cosplayer Aza Miyuko from South Korea. as well as Weon Haur and Fujiwara Kazuko from Malaysia.
