From the recent Level Up Play event that happened during the weekend, there was a special PUBG Mobile presentation which was organized by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Sponsored by vivo Malaysia, the announcement was about the PUBG MOBILE Club Open (PMCO) 2019 Fall Split Global Finals. There will be a total prize pool of USD 2.5 million (~RM10,360,000).

The Fall Split Global Finals of PMCO 2019 will be the world's largest mobile eSports tournament to date, as there will be a total of 16 pro and semi-progaming teams from 10 regions around the world. Also, Kuala Lumpur has been selected as the location for the tournament, where it will take place from 29 November until 1 December 2019 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC). The ticket sales have officially started now until 1 December 2019 and it's quite likely that the mobile progamers will be using the vivo V17 Pro to play the game.

Besides from its presentation in Level Up Play, some local companies have been sponsoring PUBG Mobile over the last few months that was leading up to the finals. This includes Vanke’s “Run for Fun” 5km running event, Yoodo’s Malaysia Campus Championship, a special partnership with Hungry Food Delivery app, as well as a massive metamorphosis of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Station near PWTC to become the first-ever interactive esports station in Kuala Lumpur.

The Level Up Play event was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Tuan Syed Saddiq bin Syed Abdul Rahman, Minister of Youth and Sports in Malaysia, alongside James Yang, Director of PUBG MOBILE Global eSports at Tencent Games.
