Apart from it's smartphone range, LG Malaysia also have a rather interesting NFC photo printer in the form of the LG Pocket Photo. Filled with pre-processed ZINK 2.0 photo paper, the palm sized accessory can print standard name card sized photos. Since the printer does not use any actual ink it can be as thin and light as possible. To print, all you need to do is share the photo you want to print via NFC on your smartphone and tap the printer for it to transfer. It can also transfer via Bluetooth.
The LG Pocket Photo printer app lets you do quite a lot of photo editing including adding text, filters and even QR codes, making it the ultimate business card printer that can be customized on the fly. The LG Photo Pocket takes about 45 seconds to print each image. The special ZINK 2.0 pre-processed paper will be sold at RM49.90 for 3 packs of 10 papers (RM49.90 = 30 ZINK 2.0 papers). The LG Pocket Photo printer itself will be available in Malaysia for RM399 and the end of July 2013.
