You read that right, this gaming monitor can actually bend its OLED display at will. Today, LG Electronics Malaysia announced that the LG OLED FLEX (LX3) pre-order is now available in Malaysia at RM13,199, exclusively online at LG Official Tech Store on Lazada Malaysia and Shopee Malaysia.
As the world's first bendable 42-inch OLED monitor, it has most of the high-end gaming features as expected. The display can go from completely flat to curved at 900R and 20 difference curve levels, and in either mode, the LG OLED delivers the same picture quality and performance. This includes infinite contrast, deep blacks, highly-accurate colours (100% colour fidelity certified), a lightning-fast 0.1 millisecond response time and low input lag.
In addition, the LG OLED FLEX is powered by α (Alpha) 9 Gen 5 intelligent processor and unique picture algorithms. The gaming monitor also offers eye comfort with an anti-reflection (SAR) coating to reduce visual distractions. Gamers can also choose the adjust the size of the onscreen image to 32- or 27-inches. The image-resize feature can be done from the Gaming Dashboard menu.
Besides that, it's worth mentioning that there's a Game app with shortcuts to Twitch and YouTube, an optimizer for customised sound settings that includes an equalizer, AI Game Sound and Dolby Atmos, as well as Multi-View mode to play a PC or a console game while watching YouTube videos streamed from their smartphone at the same time. Multiple ports such as HDMI and USBs are supported as expected.
Malaysian gamers who pre-order the LG OLED Flex will also get a free LG XBOOM360 XO3 Portable Speaker (worth RM1,299) but only from the aforementioned online stores.
