LG V60 ThinkQ smartphone will come with flagship specs and 4... microphones?

We don't normally hear much from LG about its smartphones, largely due to the fact that it's not a priority market for LG Malaysia. Regardless, the brand makes some interesting devices and the upcoming V60 ThinkQ has an unusual feature - four-channel microphones.

Frequent leakster Evan Blass posted a screenshot on Twitter that's allegedly taken from a promo video for the LG V60 ThinkQ. The post mentioned a few interesting details, such as the phone's expected release window being around spring 2020 (late March to late June) and its 5000mAh battery. We can also see from the image that there are four microphones installed inside the phone, along with a quad-camera setup and dual-LED flash. A followup image also shows that it has an audio jack.

LG hasn't confirmed any of these details nor explain what the four microphones would be useful for. But it's not something common and has certainly piqued our interest somewhat. Aside from though, the V60 ThinkQ is likely going to sport some pretty beefy flagship tech specs, such as the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset.

Unfortunately, we won't be getting any news about LG at MWC 2020 since the company is pulling out of the event. Having said that, would the 4-channel microphone open up new use cases and would you care for an LG-branded flagship device like this?
