As you may know, LG isn't a major smartphone brand in many regions. But the company has been making an effort this year to release more options outside of the flagship segment. The LG Velvet launched a few months back is a great example, and now sources say that the LG W11 was spotted on Google Play Console.

According to MySmartPrice, an entry-level smartphone for the budget-conscious was found. It's listed as LG Neo11LM on Google Play Console, which is believed to be the LG W11. Some tech specs of the phone have also been listed, confirming that it will have a MediaTek MT6762 (Helio P22) chipset that comes with eight Cortex-A53 cores. It also has PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

The listing also confirms that it has a 720x1600 resolution display with a 280 PPI. After some calculations, we get a screen size of at least 6.1-inch. It could be smaller than that, depending on how thick the bezels are. In addition to that, an FCC listing previously found for this device suggests that it will also come with dual-rear camera setup and a 3900mAh battery.

It's great to see LG making an effort to expand into the smartphone market. But we've yet to see the company launch its LG Velvet and LG Wing in Malaysia, so we probably won't see this come here either. Would you be willing to give LG a try if it launches here?
