LG announces new X series smartphones with key premium features without premium prices

With the MWC 2016 just around the corner, LG Electronics has announced two X series models that they are going to show in Barcelona – The LG X cam and X screen. These duo X series mid-range smartphones are designed for users a unique user experience and great camera or advanced display. 

“Everyone has a favorite smartphone feature,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “At LG, we think there’s room for devices that do one thing very well and that customers shouldn’t have to pay for features that they don’t want. At the end of the day, we’re committed to offering consumers more choices.”

Sporting the most advanced camera features in a mass-tier smartphone line, the X cam has dual cameras on the rear and thanks to its 3D Bending Glass, the design offers a comfortable grip and weighs at only 118g.

The X screen, on the other hand, features an 'Always-on' Second Screen (which only the LG V10 has) that makes multi-tasking convenient and user friendly for users. Users are able to access easily with the second screen to their most used app, answer calls without interrupting the current activity or playing songs. The Second Screen also lets users to check time, date, battery status and other notifications without ever having to turn on the smartphone. 

The X series will make a debut in key markets such as Asia, Europe and Latin America starting in March. Prices will be revealed at the MWC 2016 so stay tuned!
