LG gram, gram 2-in-1, gram Ultraslim and gram Style release: 13th Gen Intel Core CPU and up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM

LG Electronics (LG) today introduced an expanded LG Gram lineup which offers more diversity while still packing premium specs, providing both power and portability into sleek, ultralightweight form factors. This time around, the company refreshes the popular LG gram with offerings in 14, 15, 16 and 17-inch sizes, alongside two new gram series, the gram Ultraslim and gram Style; all of which are powered by the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors. 

First up, let’s dive into the new gram Ultraslim (model 15Z90RT) which headlined the LG gram showcase at CES 2023 in Las Vegas. As the name would suggest, the laptop is the thinnest gram model yet with weight of only 998 grams and a depth of only 10.99mm when closed. Furthermore, the gram Ultraslim packs a 15.6-inch OLED display with Anti-glare Low Reflection (AGLR) coating and comes with an ultra-compact adapter.

As for the gram Style, it is offered in 16 and 14-inch versions (model 16Z90RS and 14Z90RS) with an elegant glass design that LG claims make each available colour options shine and shift dynamically. Furthermore, the gram Style sports a ‘hidden’ haptic touchpad with soft LED backlighting illuminates at the the users’ touch. In terms of specs, the gram Style laptops features a 16:10 OLED AGLR display with a high refresh rate, Gen4 NVMe SSD, Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI connectivity as well as Dolby Atmos. 

Moving towards the new gram 17, 16, 15 and 14 laptops (models 17Z90R, 16Z90R, 15Z90R and 14Z90R), LG asserted that each model provides the brand’s signature combination of strong performance and light, compact design. The latest 17- and 16-inch grams are equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU, Gen4 NVMe SSD, a large battery that can handle more than 20 hours of video playback on a single charge and comes with the same conveniently compact adapter included with the gram Ultraslim. 

Lastly, the new gram 2-in-1 comes in 16- and 14-inch sizes (models 16T90R and 14T90R), and provides users with thefreedom to switch from laptop to tablet, or vice versa, whenever they choose. Along with its 4-way super-slim bezel design and sturdy yet slim aluminum frame, the latest ‘convertible’ gram boasts a suite of pre-installed notetaking and drawing applications optimized for use with the LG Stylus Pen (Wacom AES 2.0).
