We have seen many action cams being sold here and there, with GoPro being the most popular brand in this segment of the market. LG looks to want to join in the fun, and has announced the LG Action CAM LTE. What makes this camera different than any other action cam is the built-in 4G LTE connectivity which allows it to stream without the need of any accompanying smartphone to any streaming service such as Youtube Live.

Not only it comes with the live streaming feature, the LG Action CAM LTE will offer remote access functionality via 3G and LTE, which will enable the device to be used as a CCTV camera for home monitoring or as an automobile dash camera. The Action CAM LTE users can also download the recorded images and videos on their paired smartphones for later viewing sessions.

If you want to take it into the desert or the jungles of Malaysia, go ahead as the camera is rated IP67, which means that it is water and dust resistant, making it perfect for off-roading video recording. Plus with the built-in 1400 mAh battery, you get 1080p video recording for up to 4 hours into the microSD card, which it supports up to 2TB.

Its coming to markets soon, with South Korea being the first market to be sold. Malaysia is still unknown as for now, so we will update you with prices when it is launched locally.
