Like many electronics giants, LG has a large variety of home appliances. In particular, home entertainment is an area the company has a lot of focus on and has now announced its new GX soundbar. It's supposedly designed to complete the GX Gallery OLED TVs, which were launched in June 2020.

Like the LG GX OLED TVs, the GX soundbar is very slim can be mounted flush against the wall. It has the said width as the 65-inch model of the GX OLED TV and would look great when mounted together. Of course, it can also be placed on a flat surface as it comes with a steel stand. The soundbar is accompanied by a larger subwoofer, which promises to output excellent bass.

The audio quality of this soundbar is expected to be top-notch. It comes with Dolby Atmos and DTX:S for virtual surround sound, as well as pass-through for 4K content playback. Additionally, this soundbar supports enhanced audio return channel (eARC) and Bluetooth so you can easily connect devices like your smartphone to it for audio playback, as well as Hi-Res Audio (24bit/96kHz) for excellent audio quality.

LG has confirmed that the GX soundbar will be available in Europe, North America, Asia and certain key markets in July 2020. However, it seems that Malaysia may not be getting this soundbar - or at least not yet. Having said that, would you be interested in ultraslim soundbars like this?
