Despite exiting the smartphone space, it seems that LG is still planning to release Android mobile devices, only in the form of tablets. This is after ‘Project Jetta’, an upcoming tablet allegedly by the South Korean company was recently spotted on Geekbench 5.

Based on the listing, the LG tablet, codenamed LGE 10A30Q will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paried with 4GB of RAM. The benchmark listing also shows that the tablet will run on Android 12.

Furthermore, a thread on LG’s Project Jetta was also posted on clien, a South Korean tech forum with more details on the tablet. According to the forum, the tablet will also feature a 7000mAh battery, a 10.3-inch display, 128GB storage, an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.

The forum also claimed that the tablet was made by LG for educational purposes. However, it is not known how LG would actually be manufacturing this tablet as it has shut down its smartphone arm.

Well, we'd just have to wait to find out the answers because as it is currently, nothing is confirmed as of yet. Nevertheless, it’d be refreshing to see LG making mobile devices again, albeit a slightly larger one with this upcoming tablet.
