LTE networks in Malaysia are just coming out, with the only major players being Maxis and Celcom. Therefore it makes sense that it took a while for the LTE-enabled version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 or I9505 to reach our shores. Coming out for Maxis in the next week or so, the I9505 will be priced a bit higher at RM2499 because instead of 16GB this version has 32GB worth of internal storage.
Other tech specs for the I9505 don't differ that much from the non-LTE enabled I9500 except for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and Adreno 320 GPU. The 32GB version of the I9505 should be offered at a subsidized price by telcos but since only Maxis and Celcom have LTE networks (and according to rumours, soon to be DiGi as well) we expect only these telcos to offer the LTE-enabled I9505. Other retailers are expected to get the LTE-enabled I9505 around 19 June 2013. If you still haven't got your Samsung Galaxy S4 because you're not sure which one to pick between the I9505 and I9500 then check out our Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 vs Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 review.
