Samsung recently released an updated version of their Samsung Keyboard (version 5.8.20.12) app. While the company has not disclosed any specific changes or new features introduced in this update the first thing we noticed was that switched physical keyboard shortcut keys in the previous iteration have been fixed.
Previously, when using the Samsung Keyboard with a physical Bluetooth keyboard in Samsung Dex we found that when trying to get @ using the keyboard shortcut keys SHIFT + 2 resulted in “ and vice versa. This new Samsung Keyboard update fixes this and other physical keyboard key shortcuts on our Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra here in Malaysia and probably comes with other bug fixes and performance enhancements.
To obtain the latest version, navigate to the Galaxy Store, select the Menu option, then choose Updates.
