Online shopping is supposed to be about convenience but sometimes it is far from that when it comes to collecting parcels. You’re either not home or too busy to wait for parcels to arrive on weekdays. Not anymore though as you can now choose your preferred time and place to collect your parcels when you shop on Lazada.
This system is called Collection Point. Only selected items are eligible for this service, specifically, those which about 35cm (length) x 35cm (width) x 35cm (height). Packages which are eligible for Collection Point will show a banner on the checkout screen which lists a number of collection points near your shipping address. So far, only Klang Valley is eligible for this service for the time being.
Shoppers will be given a OTP (One time password) that is given via email, SMS and through the Lazada App alongside pick up instructions. You’ll be able to track your parcels through the Lazada App or through this link. When the item arrives, shoppers will be given 3 days to pick up their parcel before the parcel is returned to its origin. If that were to happen, shoppers be subsequently refunded. The OTP will be used to verify the customer at pick up points.
There are a number of pick up points throughout Klang Valley as of right now. Most items which are available for pick up points are from the Fashion, Accessories and Health & Beauty categories. Do note that it is not possible for you to switch your pick up points once you’ve chosen the item’s destination for the time being.
Each collection point has different operating hours which makes it easier for you to drop by at any time that is convenient to you.
