LeEco and Coolpad introduces new dual rear camera smartphone - Cool1 Dual

Just last night, the collaboration between China smartphone manufacturer LeEco and Coolpad have released a new smartphone - Cool1 Dual as the latest gadget to join the dual rear camera trend in the market. What's attractive about the phone is its respectable specifications and economical price, check it out below:

  • 3GB / 4GB RAM
  • 32GB / 64GB storage (expandable memory available)
  • 5.5-inch FHD display (1080p)
  • Measures 152 x 74.8 x 8.2mm, weighs 173g
  • Dual 13MP rear cameras (autofocus, flash) + 8MP front camera
  • Features Fingerprint sensor, universal remote function, Type-C port, Dual nano SIM,
  • Supports 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth and WiFi Hotspot (no NFC) connectivity
  • Android 6.0 based EUI
  • 4060 mAh battery

As you would expect, the phone has a nice premium metal body look, the huge battery pack is even enough to be used for reverse charging, however, the highlight is the dual rear camera which functions similarly to the Huawei P9, with a second-gen dual camera technology - Dual Camera 2.0 inside the setup. with one as a colour camera sensor and the other as a black and white camera sensor. The company also stated that the phone can enhance the overall image clarity by 20%, reduce noise by 8% and increase brightness by 20%. In other words, it should be able to take low light pictures well.

Lastly, there will be three variants - 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM model pricing at 1099 Yuan (around RM663), 1499 Yuan (around RM904) and 1699 Yuan (around RM1025) respectively. The phones won't probably come to Malaysia since they don't have any presence here, but if you're interested, you may visit JD.com, Lemall and Coolpad’s online store on 24 August at 10AM to order.
