Based on various rumours of the Galaxy Z Flip4, Samsung's upcoming foldable smartphone won't look that different from its predecessor. It'll have a slightly larger cover display, an improved hinge, a larger battery, and more. However, a leaked render seems to indicate that the changes are quite notable.

Thanks to Evan Blass (via 91Mobiles), official images of the Galaxy Z Flip4 are now available. As you can see, the new model also has a few subtle differences, compared to the Galaxy Z Flip3. For one, the former has larger buttons and flatter sides. Also, the hinge seems closer to the back of the display and the protrusion of the camera module is more pronounced. Another thing we noticed is the colour of the new model, which is a deeper purple than last year's lavender variant.

The changes are more noticeable than some may think

The flatter sides could be due to the device having a larger battery, and does give the device a slightly more premium look. The larger buttons should provide a more 'clicky' feel, while the new hinge could mean a narrower crease as rumoured. Lastly, the thicker camera protrusions could be due to thinner dimensions, larger sensors, or the larger cover display.

Overall, the Galaxy Z Flip4 should look similar to last year's model. But the changes are indeed noticeable, so the new model should also feel quite different.
