Stellantis Malaysia has launched a fully electric SUV, the Leapmotor C10, as a symbol of the future of sustainable mobility. This launch marks the introduction of the Leapmotor brand to the Malaysian market, the result of Stellantis' collaboration with Leapmotor International, which focuses on new energy vehicles (NEVs) made in China.
For your information, the Leapmotor C10 features a masculine aesthetic design with angel wing LED headlights and daytime running lights (DRL). The design is also equipped with an air intake funnel with an Active Grille Cover (AGS) that improves aerodynamics and cooling. This SUV comes with 20-inch 'Trident' rims and an elegant side design.
In addition, this SUV is built using the Leap 3.0 platform that offers superior electrification performance and a spacious interior. With dimensions of 4,739mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,680mm in height, it is suitable for modern families and professionals who want a combination of style and function.
Moreover, Leapmotor C10 uses a Lithium-Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 69.9kWh and a Permanent Magnetic Synchronic electric motor that produces 214hp and 320Nm of torque. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just 7.5 seconds, with a driving range of up to 424 km (WLTP). Fast charging time using DC is only 30 minutes to reach 30% to 80% charge.
Furthermore, the C10 cabin stands out with high-quality finishes, a 14.6-inch infotainment screen, and a 12-speaker audio system. Passengers can enjoy a spacious space with rear seats that can be folded flat, making them suitable for outdoor activities such as Camp Mode and Nap Mode. The Leapmotor C10 is also equipped with Leap Pilot’s Stage 2 ADAS technology, offering advanced safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), and more.
If you are interested, this electric SUV is offered at an introductory price of RM149000 until November 30 only. After that, it will return to the original price of RM159000 (OTR without insurance) with colour options such as Glazed Green, Pearly White, and Canopy Grey.
