According to the German manufacturer, an electronic option will be available eventually to assist the continuous shooting mode and shutter speed. The company also wants photographers to marvel at their 4.4 MP Eye Res electronic viewfinder, because as of right now it is the highest resolution EVF on the market they can offer. Veteran photographers will be glad to know that the Typ-601 has access to 145 different high-quality lenses and they can use Leica T mount lenses without an adapter.

Design wise, the camera is made out of aluminium and looks beautiful as usual (like all Leica cameras do) thanks to its black frame. Its USB 3.0, HDMI, microphone/speaker/recorder and flash port are all placed at the left side of the camera. It will make its debut on 16 November 2015 for $7450 (RM 31889.35, yikes!). But with that said, veteran photographers probably won’t mind paying such a sum since it is a Leica.
