While some people look to tighten their wallets, some may still have the privilege of luxuries. Leica is one of those a brand that represents class and luxury, with a new camera that has been launched - the Leica M10-R. This is a new variant of the M10 series and it comes with a 40MP image sensor.

According to Petapixel, the Leica M10-R can be considered a version of the M10 Monochrom. While the latter only captures black and white photos, the M10-R is a rangefinder that can snap normal photos with colours. It has a 40MP full-frame sensor that's great landscape photography, with the high pixel count allowing for great cropped shots. It also has an ISO range of 100-50,000, which means it'll perform well in low light.

Besides that, the M10-R comes with a 2GB buffer memory that can snap 10 40MP images in one go. It also has the super quiet mechanical shutter introduced with the Leica M10-P, a 3-inch touchscreen display, and an optical viewfinder. Do note that there's no autofocus since it's a rangefinder so you'll have to do it the old-fashioned way, which is mostly why people get cameras like these anyway.

Leica has announced that the camera will be available in certain regions starting on 20 July 2020 for about USD 8295 (~RM35415). But will you be interested in this if it comes to Malaysia? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
