It seems that the Lenovo Go handheld gaming device is gaining some momentum and in this latest news, WindowsReport is making a bold statement that they have received an official press release with the specs and pricing. If true, Lenovo Go may make its debut on 1 September 2023 which is the first day of IFA 2023.

Before we proceed, you may want to take this news with a pinch of salt as WindowsReport said that the document received was from an anonymous tipster. Lenovo has yet to announce anything about the Lenovo Go either, so we won't know until the said date. Anyway, here are the details that we know so far.

As previously reported, the Lenovo Go is likely to run on Windows 11, powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor which is the same one as the ROG Ally. However, the display is larger than we thought. Initially, it was reported to be 8 inches but it's 8.8 inches in QHD+ with a 144Hz refresh rate. The memory configuration is said to be up to 16GB + 1TB.

Sources also got a couple of marketing photos of the Lenovo Go from the document. The battery is revealed to sport 49.2Whr and is much bigger than its competitors, as well as having 65W fast charging technology. That means we can expect the handheld gaming device to be quite big, and may play a role in pairing up with a TV or monitor via a USB 4.0 port.

Besides the Lenovo Go, Lenovo may plan to unveil brand new Lenovo Legion AR glasses that can work with any USB C devices and a pair of Lenovo Legion E510 gaming earbuds with RGB lighting. In terms of pricing, you can check them out below for your reference:

  • Lenovo Go - Reportedly to launch in October for $799/€799 (~RM3715 or ~RM4025)

  • Lenovo Legion E510 7.1 RGB Gaming In-Ear headphones - Same launching timeline at €49.99 (~RM251)

1 September 2023 is just three days away so we don't need to wait that long. Until then, let's just wait for the official news by Lenovo at IFA 2023.
