Today, Lenovo introduced two new gaming laptops but they aren't the Legion series. In fact, it's the new IdeaPad Gaming 3i and IdeaPad Gaming 3. The company said that these two are aimed towards the younger gamers who want competent gaming tech specs and features.
Coming in 15 and 16-inch for the Gaming 3i and Gaming 3 respectively, these gaming laptops have up to a 165Hz refresh rate display, an option of up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 H-series processors or with AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processors. Alternately, they also have an option of up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU or the option of Intel Arc Graphics.
In addition, the Gaming 3i and Gaming 3 laptops offer up to WQHD+ (2560 x 1600) IPS 16:10 display with 100% sRGB colour gamut and 500 nits brightness. Also available is the more compact 15.6-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) 16:9 display option. Like most gaming laptops, they have a quad vent thermal technology that allows for quieter, more efficient cooling performance from an optimized ventilation rate of up to 20% larger than its previous generation.
On top of that, they are also equipped with a Nahimic Audio 3D Sound System, a 1080P FHD webcam with a shutter and an optional 4-zone RGB backlighting. Xbox Game Pass is also available which is great although that can't be said the same for Malaysian consumers since it's not officially available.
Last but not least, Lenovo also introduced a new Legion M600s Qi Wireless Gaming Mouse. It weighs 75g and 19,000 DPI via Pixart 3370, 80-million-click rated optical micro-switches and up to six programmable buttons. The RGB is fully programable with nearly 16.8 million colour combinations.
Lenovo Malaysia focuses more on the Legion series for gamers in Malaysia but it would be interesting to see if the company imports the IdeaPad Gaming 3 series. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
