Qualcomm is preparing their new chipsets and bringing in the new Snapdragon 898 SoC platform for the 2022 flagships. As we know now, the first flagship phone that will be sporting it will be the Xiaomi Mi 12 series which may be out even before 2022. But now it seems like the Lenovo Legion 3 Pro will be sporting the Snapdragon 898 chipset too.

According to the source, the General Manager of Lenovo in China confirms that their upcoming device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 898 chipset and highlighted the “much-upgrade” GPU along with the upcoming chipset. We assume that the dual active cooling fans will still be there since the Snapdragon 898 will be able to keep the device running at top speed while the active cooling may avoid throttling and overheating.
