Lenovo Tab M9 release: 9-inch LCD, Helio G80 SoC and 5100mAh battery from ~RM749

Lenovo has announced its latest budget tablet, the Lenovo Tab M9 which is set for release in Europe next year. The successor to the popular Tab M8, the device offers several improvements, including a larger 9-inch IPS LCD Panel with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels and 400 nits of brightness. 

Under the hood, the Tab M9 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with either 3 or 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and either 32, 64 or 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. There’s also a 5100mAh battery which charges with the included 10W USB-C charger. Speaking of which, Lenovo is including a clear case with a built-in kickstand inside the box too.

As for cameras, there’s an 8MP shooter at the rear and a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Other notable specs include a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and colour options of Arctic Grey and Frost Blue. 

The Tab M9 is slated to be released in Europe in February next year from EUR159 or ~RM749. As of the time of writing, Lenovo has yet to reveal the availability and pricing of the tablet in our country.
