As you may know, Samsung launched its Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets during its latest Unpacked event. But those aren't the only tablets unveiled this week. Lenovo also revealed a new tablet for productivity and entertainment - the Lenovo Tab P12.

The Lenovo Tab P12 is a sibling of the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro launched in 2021. It packs a mid-range Dimensity 7050 chipset, 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage. Besides that, it features the same battery capacity of 10200mAh. As for the cameras, there's only one 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. As you can see, the 5MP ultra-wide camera at the back was dropped.

Next, let's list the main features. The Lenovo Tab P12 has the same 12.7-inch screen. But Lenovo chose an LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh this time instead of the 120Hz AMOLED panel utilised in the Pro model. It also has the same quad JBL speakers and supports a new keyboard and stylus set. For reference, the new stylus is the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, while the Pro model was paired with the Lenovo Precision Pen 3.

It should be noted that the non-Pro model should have lower power consumption, especially with the more energy-efficient Dimensity 7050 chipset (6nm vs 7nm). While the Snapdragon 870 is more powerful, it gets noticeably warm when you play mobile games.

According to Lenovo, the Lenovo Tab P12 and Lenovo Tab Pen Plus will be available in Europe for 399 Euros (~RM2005). If you want the tablet with the official keyboard, it'll be 499 Euros (~RM2508). However, it'll only be available in select markets, which may not include Malaysia.
