It was only last week when the Lenovo Tab Plus was revealed. Today, Lenovo Malaysia confirmed that the tablet will soon be available in Malaysia with an expected date of 21 July 2024. It will be priced at RM1,599 which is quite affordable.
To recap the features, the Lenovo Tab Plus features eight JBL Hi-Fi speakers, including four matrix tweeters and four force-balanced woofers housed in 4 speaker boxes totalling 22cc. It's also supported by Dolby Atmos with high-res audio of 24-bit and 96kHz frequency when using headphones.
Powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, it has 256GB of storage and can be expanded more via a microSD card. It sports an 11.5-inch 2K display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is TUV-certified as well, to ensure low-blue light and flicker-free. Also, the tablet is packed with an 8600 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support that reaches full power in only 90 minutes. It's worth noting that it also supports an IP52 water and dust-resistant rating.
Lenovo Malaysia said the tablet will receive two years of OS upgrades and four years of security patches until June 2028. The Lenovo Tab Plus is also available with Lenovo Premium Care or personalized technical support and Lenovo Accidental Damage Protection One6 for safety against accidental drops or spills.
The Lenovo Tab Plus safeguards users with a privacy dashboard that lets the owner manage permissions, will offer upgrades for 2 years with 4 years of security patches until June 2028, and is available with Lenovo Premium Care6 for personalized technical support and Lenovo Accidental Damage Protection One6 for safety against accidental drops or spills.
Last but not least, the tablet is compatible with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, the Lenovo 68W USB-C Wall Charger, and the Lenovo Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard. Speaking of which, customers who purchase it will receive the same accessories plus an extra Lenovo Tab Plus Sleeve.
