As always, laptop brands tend to release a bunch of new gadgets in one go and Lenovo just did that during the Mobile World Congress 2022. Among the lineups, the ThinkPad X13s is particularly interesting because it's the world's first laptop to be powered by a Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chipset. Here's everything that you need to know.
Weighing at just 1.06kg, this laptop packs quite a punch with most of the modern features such as WiFi 6E and can be switched to 5G mmWave or sub6 Wireless WAN thanks to the aforementioned Snapdragon chipset. Speaking of that, the unit is built on 5nm that offers processing speeds with system-level performance boosts of up to 57% and handles multi-tasking up to 85% faster performance.
Besides that, the ThinkPad X13s is running up to Windows 11 Pro, up to 32GB LPDDR4x RAM, up to 1TB PCIe SSD of storage, and a small 16:10 display measuring 13.3-inches. It's also worth mentioning that the webcam is 5MP with a front-facing Dolby Audio speaker system for video conferencing. Finally, its battery life can last up to 28 hours on video playback.
According to Lenovo, the ThinkPad X13s will be available in May 2022 globally on selected markets. For Europe, it starts from €1399 (~RM6572) and for the US market, it will be available on AT&T and Verizon later in 2022. We aren't sure if it's coming to Malaysia but we will keep an eye out, so stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
