Fans during the photo opportunity with zombies from the movie franchise at the special screening of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter
This month, Lenovo has recently announced a joint initiative with Sony Pictures and Resident Evil to mark the premiere of the franchise’s latest movie, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. With that in hand, they also hosted special movie screening of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter at TGV Cinemas, 1 Utama on Wednesday, 18 January. Fans were treated to a hands-on experience with the range of Think series, as well as a photo opportunity with zombies from the movie franchise.
But that’s not the only thing the company are doing, Lenovo will be rewarding fans in the Klang Valley with movie tickets to catch Resident Evil: The Final Chapter at roadshows, in partnership with Tanjung Golden Village (TGV) cinemas, from 20 January to 5 February. Roadshow locations and dates are as follows:

At these roadshows, the public will have the opportunity experience the Lenovo Y-gaming and IdeaPad series of devices on display, such as the IdeaCentre Y710 Cube and IdeaPad 710S which are now available nationwide at selected Lenovo Exclusive Stores and Lenovo Multi Brand Stores. Fans will also stand a chance to win movie tickets when they participate in the roadshow, with the contest mechanics as follows:
- Fill up a survey form.
- Take a creative picture with the devices showcased.
- Post the pictures to the Lenovo Malaysia Facebook page with a creative caption, and tag Lenovo Malaysia using the hashtag #LenovoResidentEvilMY
- Win a free ticket to watch Resident Evil: The Final Chapter!
