Lenovo clears up rumours of a smaller 7-inch Legion Go Lite variant

Two days ago, it seemed that Lenovo could develop a smaller Lenovo Legion Go variant. The information was found on the Legion Go's product page, whereby the smaller variant would come in 7 inches. However, Lenovo has clarified and debunked the rumours.

By now, the misinformation about the 7-inch Legion Go has been removed from the product page. According to one of the moderators (Ben from Lenovo), the misinformation on the FAQ document could have used better proofreading as it was overlooked. The document was launched alongside the Legion Go last year and this is what happened when someone jumped to conclusions.

Prior to correcting the information, there were a few rumours of a Legion Go Lite. And while it was going on, GamesRadar suggested that it could be an error, saying the details were just made up by AI because of the high score from AI detector sites. Well, at least the rumours are cleared now.

Still, if Lenovo were to make a Legion Go Lite, it may not be a good idea because of other existing models such as the standard Ryzen Z1 ROG Ally unit and Ayaneo. Furthermore, a lite variant may have to sacrifice the FPS mode which is what Legion Go is known for.
