Lenovo is going to drop the world's first laptop with foldable display

We can't deny that foldable smartphones are attracting a lot of attention nowadays. Back then, if you told someone about the idea of it, they would probably laugh at you. Now, you can just simply get one from the market and they even come with different designs. Not just folding smartphones, it looks like the world's first laptop with a foldable display is going to arrive soon as well, and it is developed by Lenovo.

Today, the brand posted a teaser video of the ThinkPad X1 Fold on Weibo to announce a launch that is going to happen soon. In the video, you can clearly see that a screen is being folded and put on a balance scale to emphasize its weight. The ThinkPad X1 Fold is interestingly light by weighing under 1kg. Not just being light, it is said that the device will have a thin body as well.

The device has actually appeared once at CES 2020. It will come with a 13.3-inch LG OLED screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536. When fully folded, it is mentioned that the laptop looks like a book with its leather cover. Other than that, there is not much information given regarding the tech specs and features of the ThinkPad X1 Fold. It is expected to have an official release in either September or October.
